Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the technical and economical effects of the base shear distribution model at the height of the structure using the pushover method. In the present study, we first used a library and research method in the research theory and then to design the structural models, ETABS software was used. At the end of the research, we have introduced and compared the results. The results showed that one of the economical dimensions of the third edition of the standard 2800 is very optimal, while in contrast to the fourth edition, the highest amount of steel consumed and therefore the highest cost. 2. Structures proposed by the fourth edition have the highest weight of consumable steel and have the highest amount of over strength. 3. The excess coefficient coefficient of the structures over strength by the third and fourth editions of standard 2800 is not significantly different. 4. over strength and ductility for high structures with a class number of about 20 floors is greatly reduced.
