Long-term investment strategy based on future trends, Case study: petrochemical industry

Abstract
The main purpose of study is to concentrate on future trends and choose this point to collect and make priority for investment strategies. In the changing world, only concentrating on the internal strengths and environmental opportunities to choose an investment strategy can't have a complete desirable utilitarian for us. Smart looking on the changes and analyzing true understanding of future can make our investment priorities and choices more effective and successful. The study focuses on Iran investment market and accepted financial institutions in Tehran stock exchange, with respect to Petrochemical industry share in Tehran stock exchange value, the number of companies and industry role in the massive economy, investment strategies codification has been investigated in Petrochemical industry based on future trends. Priority of four main scenarios of big development, big opportunities, big advantage and big setting based on certainties and basic pivots related to worldwide adherence/ break and being available and unavailable of petrochemical industry provision lead study to scenarios occurring, the study results confirm the worldwide adherence_ provision access. The detailed explanation leads study scenarios to codify eight comprehensive strategies and priorities, strategies are implemented in every scenario. The study confirms high probability of worldwide adherence and provision access. It means in future, Iran interactions and petrochemical industry with global main player are predicted to be well and wide and about industry provision state, the industry is far from petroleum and any threats for provision access and based on these strategies of above mentioned probabilities, including: strategy of using international investment and global pioneer companies for petrochemical development, promotion of technology level in the industry and infrastructure development and strategy of penetration increase in Global markets, access to global modern markets and permanents adherence with foreign companies are considered as the study main priorities.
