The Relationship between Self-control and Responsibility of the Sixth Grade Girl Elementary School Students (Case Study: Babolsar City)

Abstract

Responsibility is one of the most important objective of an educational organization particularly education administrative. Therefore, this research aims on studying the relationship between self-control and its components by responsibility. Statistical population of this research includes all sixth grade girl elementary school students on Babolsar city in 2016-2017 who were 324 persons. Statistical samples of this research included 181 students who were selected by simple random sampling method. Research tool includes Tangi et al. (2004) self-control questionnaire and Hassanzadeh et al. (2014) questionnaire. The methodology was descriptive-correlational, and Pearson correlation coefficient, simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression by simultaneous method were used to analyze data. Results of research showed that self-control and its components (preventive, inhibitor, and initial self-control) have a positive and significant relationship with students’ responsibility.
